Hukumar CEC ta Zambia za ta dakatar da samar da wutar lantarki ga ma'adinan Copper na Konkola

Kamfanin Copperbelt Energy Corp na Zambia (CEC) zai daina samar da wuta ga ma'aikatar kula da ma'adinan Copper na Vedanta ta Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) daga ranar litinin, in ji bayan tattaunawar da aka yi kan tsawaita yarjejeniyar samar da wutar lantarkin da suka yi a kan basussukan da CEC ke bi.

Ministan Makamashi na Zambiya Mathew Nhkuwa ya shaidawa kamfanin dillancin labarai na Reuters cewa, a yanzu KCM za ta karbi wutar lantarkin ta kai tsaye daga kamfanin Zesco mallakar gwamnati, wanda a baya ya sayar da wutar lantarki ga CEC domin samar da wutar lantarki ga KCM.

Nkhuwa ya ce ba za a sabunta yarjejeniyar samar da wutar lantarki mai yawa tsakanin Zesco da CEC, wadda ta kare a ranar 31 ga Maris.

Yarjejeniyar samar da wutar lantarki tsakanin CEC da KCM ita ma ta zo karshe a ranar 31 ga Maris kuma an tsawaita ta hanyar yarjejeniyar ne kawai har zuwa ranar 31 ga Mayu, in ji CEC a cikin wata sanarwa a ranar Lahadi. KCM na bin kamfanin makamashin dala miliyan 132, in ji CEC.

Sanarwar ta ce "Tattaunawa don kara tsawaita shi ya wargaje, duk da kokarin da CEC ta yi da kyakkyawar niyya wajen samun sabuwar kwangila," in ji sanarwar.

Sanarwar da KCM ta fitar ta ce, bayan karewar kwantiraginsa da CEC, kamfanin ya kulla wata yarjejeniya da Zesco, wanda zai fara aiki daga ranar 1 ga watan Yuni.

"Muna sa ran canji maras kyau a cikin samar da wutar lantarki daga CEC zuwa Zesco kuma duk wani tsangwama ko ƙuntatawa zai zama aikin zagon ƙasa," in ji KCM.

A kokarin amincewa da sabuwar kwangilar, CEC ta nemi warware basussukan dala miliyan 132 na KCM da kuma samun kwakkwaran alkawari daga KCM kan biyan kudin wutar lantarki a kan lokaci, in ji ta.

CEC ta ce ta sanar da KCM cewa za a daina samar da kayayyakin da take samarwa, inda ta kara da cewa wannan shi ne kawai zabin da ake da shi bayan tattaunawar da aka yi.

"An yi taka-tsantsan don tabbatar da cewa tsarin dakatar da samar da kayayyaki yana tabbatar da amincin ma'aikata da kayan aiki da kuma kiyaye amincin ma'adinan," in ji CEC.

Vedanta ta Indiya ta mallaki kusan kashi 80% na KCM.

Yayin da Zesco yanzu zai jigilar wutar lantarki zuwa KCM, har yanzu zai yi tafiya ta layin wutar CEC. Nkhuwa ya ce CEC za ta karya doka idan ta ki jigilar wutar lantarki.

"Na fitar da kayan aiki na doka ranar Juma'a, tare da ayyana layin CEC a matsayin jigilar gama gari. Don haka CEC ta zama wajibi ta jigilar wutar lantarki daga Zesco zuwa KCM akan kudi,” in ji Nkhuwa.

Chrome Alloy Karfe
